Black Hawk College PaCE department’s next Lifelong Learner Luncheon at the Quad City Botanical Center, 2525 4th Avenue, Rock Island, is being held on Thursday, June 11, 2026 will present “Enough.” Presenter Jane Simonsen, Professor of History, Chair of American Studies at Augustana College, will provide a striking visual meditation of Fourth Wall Films asks viewers to consider whether they evaluate needs vs wants as consumers and charts a path away from overconsumption and toward greater environmental sustainability. Screening and discussion with Emmy Award-winning filmmakers Kelly & Tammy Rundle of Fourth Wall Films.

The $25 registration fee includes the plated lunch, program, and general admission to the Quad-City Botanical Center.  There is convenient on-site free parking.  Check in before lunch service begins at 11:30 a.m. with the presentation to follow and conclude around1:00 p.m.
Call the Black Hawk College PaCE Department at 309-796-8223 weekdays from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. to register over the phone using a credit card for payment.  Ask for in-person Class ID 3509.  If a staff member is unavailable when you call, leave a message with your name and phone number with a request to register, and you’ll receive a return phone call.

Alternatively, if you prefer to register online from the comfort of your home, browse on the internet to bhc.augusoft.net and click on the “Lifelong Learner Lunches” blue text under the COMMUNITY icon, followed by clicking on the “Lifelong Learner Lunches” blue text in the right column of the displayed Courses webpage to display the list of Lifelong Learner Lunch programs.  Right below the alphabetical list’s course title of “Enough” (ID: 3509) click on the “Add to Cart” button to register and check out with credit card payment. 

If you are using the online registration method for the first time, you will be prompted to “Create a New Profile” for yourself on Black Hawk College’s website before continuing to complete your registration with payment submission.
